Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
605 AM MDT Sun May 26 2024

.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight... Humidity levels will drop to
around 20 percent over the plains this afternoon but will be
higher in the mountains and foothills. There may be elevated fire
weather conditions for few hours this afternoon over the plains
due to the fairly strong downsloping winds expected.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Monday through Thursday...Monday and Tuesday
will be mainly dry and warm, with lighter winds. A gradual increase
in moisture is expected in areas east of the Front Range into the
later part of the week, with isolated to scattered thunderstorms.
It will be warm, dry, and breezy in South Park from Wednesday on,
but critical conditions are not expected.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
