...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL SCHUYLKILL...SOUTHEASTERN
NORTHUMBERLAND AND SOUTHEASTERN COLUMBIA COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM
EDT...

At 801 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
capable of producing landspouts along a line extending from
Shenandoah to Mount Carmel. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

Locations impacted include...
Shamokin, Mount Carmel, Shenandoah, Minersville, Mahanoy City,
Frackville, St. Clair, Kulpmont, Ashland, Fairview-Ferndale,
Girardville, Marshallton, Lavelle, Marlin, Altamont, Englewood,
Forrestville, Seltzer, Aristes, and Fountain Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
central Pennsylvania.
