...Gusty showers and winds will impact portions of southwestern
Whiteside, eastern Rock Island, Henry, Scott and southwestern
Clinton Counties through 630 PM CDT...

At 549 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a gusty shower 2 miles
northeast of Lyons, or 10 miles south of Maquoketa. Another shower
was on the far northern side of the Quad Cities which produced a 43
mph gust at Davenport Airport at 548 PM CDT. Both of these were
moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph, some well ahead of any showers.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, Bettendorf, Clinton, East Moline,
Kewanee, Cambridge, Silvis, Geneseo, Eldridge, DeWitt, Colona, Milan,
Camanche, Le Claire, Coal Valley, Galva, Hampton, and Orion.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
