.DISCUSSION...
No significant fire weather concerns are expected in the northern or
central Georgia through Monday. Rain showers are possible Sunday
morning, especially in the mountains. Then scattered thunderstorms
will affect the whole region Sunday afternoon and evening. More
isolated thunderstorm activity may occur on Monday. Minimum humidity
values will remain above 45 percent both days, with many areas
staying above 60 percent on Sunday. Southerly winds between 4 and 10
mph are expected Sunday afternoon, then southwest winds between 2
and 6 mph are projected for Monday afternoon. Mixing heights in the
1000 to 3000 ft AGL range are forecast in the mountains Sunday and
Monday. Elsewhere mixing heights should be over 3000 ft AGL.
Transport winds will be good (6 to 16 mph).
