County.
Little Sioux River near Milford affecting Dickinson County.
Little Sioux River at Spencer affecting Clay County.
Little Sioux River at Cherokee affecting Cherokee County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

forecast.
* WHERE...Ocheyedan River near Spencer.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 10.5 feet, Significant amounts of agricultural land
are flooded and some county roads may begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 10.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 AM CDT Monday was 10.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is currently cresting around 10.2 feet
and is expected to begin to fall by this afternoon.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River at Spencer.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, city sewers in Spencer can begin to back
up. Highway 18 between Spencer and Dickens can start flooding if
flows on the tributary creeks are also very high.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 13.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 AM CDT Monday was 13.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is currently cresting between 13.7 and
13.8 feet and is expected to begin to fall by tonight.

south bank of the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 15.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest around
18.1 feet Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
