PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River near Milford.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, minor flooding of low lying agricultural
  lands begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:00 AM CDT Thursday was 13.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Saturday afternoon and continue falling. This forecast may
    change if heavier than anticipated rainfall is received over
    the next 36 hours.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Most of the floodplain through the center
  of Spencer is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:00 AM CDT Thursday was 11.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Monday morning and continue falling. This forecast may change
    if heavier than anticipated rainfall is received over the
    next 36 hours.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
