The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  West Central Freestone County in central Texas...
  Northern Limestone County in central Texas...

* Until midnight CDT tonight.

* At 1023 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain continues along Highway 84 between Watt and Mexia.
  Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding has
  been reported along FM 2310 west of Mexia.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Mexia, Teague, Wortham, Coolidge, Lake Mexia, Fort Parker State
  Park, Tehuacana, Kirvin, Shiloh, Cotton Gin, Prairie Hill and Watt.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
