...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL ROUTT AND
SOUTHEASTERN MOFFAT COUNTIES THROUGH 130 PM MDT...

At 1254 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles south of Craig, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Craig, Hayden, and Hamilton.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 40 in Colorado between mile markers 90 and 108.
 Colorado 13 between mile markers 71 and 80, near mile marker 84, and
between mile markers 90 and 100.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
