The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC out 20
  nm...
  Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20
  nm...

* Until 530 PM EDT.

* At 426 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Murrells
  Inlet Sea Buoy, moving northeast at 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ten Mile Reef, Murrells Inlet Sea Buoy, Myrtle Beach Rock, Belky
  Bear, Springmaid Pier, North Inlet Reef, Paradise Reef, Litchfield
  Beach, Surfside Beach, and Pawleys Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
If caught on the open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions.
Make sure you and your crew are wearing properly fitted life jackets.
