...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT FRONTIER AND SOUTHEASTERN HAYES
COUNTIES THROUGH 1130 PM CDT...
At 1038 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Stockville to 12 miles east of Hayes
Center. Movement was east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Stockville, Medicine Creek Reservoir State Recreation Area, Quick,
Orafino, Bluegill Haven Campground, Willow View Campground, Freedom,
Red Willow Reservoir State Recreation Area, and Dancing Leaf Earth
Lodge.
This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 27 and 42.
