The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Harrison County in southern Mississippi...
  Jackson County in southern Mississippi...

* Until 800 PM CDT.

* At 712 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near McHenry to 7 miles southeast of Bay St. Louis,
  moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Gulfport, Biloxi, Ocean Springs, Long Beach, St. Martin, Gautier,
  D`iberville, Wade, Latimer, Lyman, Saucier, Gulf Hills, Vancleave,
  Gulf Park Estates, Hickory Hills, Hurley, and Gulfport Airport.

This includes the following Interstates...
 Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 24 and 63.
 Interstate 110 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 4.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
