...Discussion from Monterey...

An upper level trough will move across the region. This pattern
will bring mainly night and morning cloud cover along with some
coastal drizzle. Temperatures will gradually warm to seasonal
averages or above through the mid portion of next week. Breezy to
gusty conditions are possible along the coast, in the North and
East Bay Mountains and through the gaps and passes. Through the
weekend daytime humidity will remain high before decreasing
thereafter for inland areas.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...Discussion from Los Angeles/Oxnard...

The marine layer will remain dominant on the coastal side of the
mountains through Saturday, with relatively cool and moist
conditions. Over the mountains and interior, humidities will be
falling into the 20 to 40 percent range each day. Onshore wind gusts
of 30 to 45 mph will be common over the mountains and interior, as
well as the Central Coast and southwest Santa Barbara County.

Winds will weaken and the marine layer will lower Sunday and Monday.
Warmer and drier conditions expected, especially over the mountains
and interior where highs between 80 and 90 and humidities of 15 to
30 percent will be common. Further warming over the interior will
continue Tuesday and Wednesday, with increasing onshore flow. This
will keep the marine layer dominant over the coastal areas with
gusty winds over the interior.
