...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM PDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...North winds 15 to 20 kt through tonight, increasing to 20
  to 25 kt with gusts to 30 kt Wednesday afternoon into Thursday.
  Steep seas of 8 to 9 ft through this evening, increasing to 11
  to 13 ft at 15 seconds as a west swell builds into the waters
  tonight. Seas remain steep, but subside to 8 to 10 ft on
  Thursday as swell subsides and seas transition to wind driven.

* WHERE...All areas.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds and/or steep seas could capsize or
  damage smaller vessels.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners and those operating smaller vessels should
remain in port and avoid the area of hazardous conditions.

...HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM WEDNESDAY TO
5 AM PDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...North winds 15 to 20 kts through tonight, increasing to
  20 to 30 kt with gusts to 35 kt Wednesday afternoon into
  Thursday. Steep seas of 8 to 9 ft through this evening,
  increasing to 12 to 14 ft at 15 seconds as a west swell builds
  into the waters tonight. Seas remain steep, but subside to 10
  to 12 ft on Thursday as swell subsides and seas transition to
  wind driven.

* WHERE...Conditions hazardous to small craft are expected for all
  areas through Wednesday afternoon. Then very steep and hazardous
  warning level seas are expected for all areas beyond 1 to 2 nm
  from shore

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 5 AM PDT Friday.
  For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 5 PM Wednesday to 5 AM
  PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
  damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
  treacherous.

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for very steep seas and consider remaining in port
until conditions improve.
