...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LUCE...NORTHEASTERN SCHOOLCRAFT
AND NORTHEASTERN ALGER COUNTIES THROUGH 145 AM EDT...

At 100 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Grand Sable Dunes to near Corinne.
Movement was northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Newberry, Grand Marais, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, McMillan,
Germfask, Seney, Manistique Lake, Muskallonge State Park, Grand Sable
Dunes, Au Sable Point, Pine Stump Junction, Helmer, Deer Park, Soo
Junction, Four Mile Corner, Snyder Lake, Dollarville, Nawakwa Lake,
Betsy Lake, and Crisp Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
