.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Widespread rain, associated with an
atmospheric river arrives this afternoon through Monday. Flood watches
remain in effect for the Clearwater Mountains and Orofino/Grangeville
region given the increased risk for rock, mudslides, and debris flows
across flood prone areas, including burn scars.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Widespread rain, associated with an
atmospheric river arrives this afternoon through Monday. Significant
precipitation totals are expected, with 1.00 to 2.00 inches across the
higher terrain. Southwest-west winds increase Monday following the
passage of a Pacific cold front, with gusts of 30 mph or greater.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Widespread rain, associated with an
atmospheric river arrives this afternoon through Monday. Significant
precipitation totals are expected, with 1.00 to 2.00 inches across the
higher terrain. Southwest-west winds increase Monday following the
passage of a Pacific cold front, with gusts of 30 mph or greater.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): Widespread rain, associated with an
atmospheric river arrives this afternoon through Monday across divide
and Pintler District. Shower activity will spread east of the divide
Monday afternoon along with southwest wind gusts of 30 mph or greater.
