...A line of showers and embedded thunderstorms will impact portions
of northeastern Deer Lodge, east central Granite, Silver Bow and
southeastern Powell Counties through 800 PM MDT...

At 708 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Silver Bow, or 8 miles west of Butte, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Deer Lodge, Butte, Anaconda, Silver Bow, Walkerville, Warm Springs,
Galen, Gregson Hot Springs, Garrison, West Valley, Nissler,
Princeton, Brock Creek, Crackerville, Avon, Racetrack, Lost Creek,
Opportunity, Goldcreek, and Blossburg.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 90 between mile markers 165 and 231.
 Highway 12 Garrison to MacDonald Pass between mile markers 0 and 26.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
