WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Seas 9 to 12 ft at 10 seconds, building to 11 to 14 ft at
  15 seconds after midnight. Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt with
  gusts up to 30 kt expected through this afternoon, then becoming
  northwest 5 to 15 kt tonight.

* WHERE...Coastal waters from Cape Shoalwater WA to Cape Falcon
  OR out 10 NM, Coastal waters from Cape Falcon to Cape
  Foulweather OR out 10 NM, Waters from Cape Shoalwater WA to
  Cape Falcon OR from 10 to 60 NM and Waters from Cape Falcon to
  Cape Foulweather OR from 10 to 60 NM.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Rough bar conditions expected. Seas 8 to 12 ft. Southwest
  winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts to 25 kt through this afternoon.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
  especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
  Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ebb current of 3.43 kt at 355 PM Tuesday.
  Seas 8 to 9 ft. Very strong ebb current of 6.82 kt at 415 AM
  Wednesday. Seas 14 to 16 ft. Ebb current of 3.35 kt at 445 PM
  Wednesday. Seas 11 to 12 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.
