...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN RUSK...NORTHWESTERN
NACOGDOCHES...WESTERN ANGELINA AND CHEROKEE COUNTIES THROUGH 745 AM
CDT...

At 657 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Bullard to Alto to 8 miles west of Apple
Springs. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Jacksonville, Rusk, Diboll, Hudson, Bullard,
Huntington, Troup, Alto, Wells, Morrill, Ponta, New Salem, Trawick,
Mount Selman, Pollok, Sacul, Mixon, and Reese.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
