The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Johnson County in north central Texas...

* Until 800 AM CDT.

* At 520 AM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding with
  numerous swift water rescues continuing on rural roads east of
  I-35W and north of U.S. Highway 67 in northeast Johnson County.
  Flash flooding is occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding from recent heavy
           rainfall.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Fort Worth, Mansfield, Burleson, Cleburne, Crowley, Keene, Joshua,
  Alvarado, Rendon, Venus, Grandview, Godley, Cross Timber, Lake Pat
  Cleburne, Cleburne State Park, Lake Whitney, Parker, Rio Vista,
  Cresson and Briaroaks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
