The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Marion County in south central Mississippi...
  Forrest County in southeastern Mississippi...
  Lamar County in southeastern Mississippi...

* Until 645 PM CDT

* At 347 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain falling across
  the warned area. A widespread two to five inches of rain have
  already fallen since late Tuesday night. Flash flooding is
  expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Hattiesburg, Petal, Columbia, Kokomo, West Hattiesburg, Sandy
  Hook, Holly Springs, Purvis, Lumberton, Sumrall, Brooklyn, Maxie,
  Bunker Hill, Rock Hill, Improve, and Mclaurin.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to two are possible in the warned
area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
