THURSDAY EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...
Another dry and breezy day is forecast Wednesday after a poor
to fair recovery tonight. Southwest winds will pick up again
by the noon hour, peaking in speeds with gusts of 15 to 20
mph in the mid-to-late afternoon hours. Wind speeds will
however be marginal with regards to critical fire weather
while humidity falls to near 10 percent alongside high Haines.
Thursday sees wind speeds increase out of the southwest with
higher certainty for Red Flag conditions developing in the
afternoon as humidity in the low teens and high Haines will
again be present. A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for
Thursday as a result. Temperatures drop and winds shift out
of the west with a cold front passing through the burn area
Thursday afternoon.
