.SHORT TERM...(TODAY THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON)
ISSUED AT 347 AM CDT FRI AUG 28 2015

LAST OF THE SHOWERS/STORMS ARE MOVING SOUTH WITH LOW
PRESSURE...REPLACED BY AREAS OF FOG UNDER AN INVERTED RIDGE AXIS.
THIS FEATURE REMAINS NEARLY STATIONARY EAST OF THE CWA WHILE SLOWLY
WEAKENING...WHILE LOW PRESSURE GRADUALLY DEVELOPS TO THE NORTHWEST.
THE RESULT IS INCREASING SOUTHERLY FLOW...WITH A STEADY INCREASE IN
850MB TEMPERATURES THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

.LONG TERM...(SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH THURSDAY)
ISSUED AT 347 AM CDT FRI AUG 28 2015

THE REGION WILL BE BETWEEN UPPER LEVEL RIDGING TO THE EAST AND A
TROUGH OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST...KEEPING UPPER LEVEL SOUTHWEST
FLOW OVER THE REGION THROUGH THE EXTENDED PERIOD. A SURFACE FRONT
WILL GRADUAL WORK ITS WAY ACROSS THE AREA SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH
MONDAY NIGHT...AND MAY BE THE FOCUS FOR SHOWERS OR WEAK
THUNDERSTORMS. BIG HINDERING FACTOR WILL BE A FAIRLY STRONG CAPPING
INVERSION OVER THE AREA...THEREFORE WILL KEEP POPS LOW FOR NOW. WEAK
HIGH PRESSURE WILL KEEP CONDITIONS DRY TUESDAY THROUGH THE DAY
THURSDAY...WITH ANOTHER FRONT POSSIBLY BRINGING PRECIPITATION
CHANCES BACK TO THE REGION THURSDAY NIGHT.

ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL BE THE RULE THROUGH THE PERIOD...WITH
HIGHS IN THE 80S AND 90S. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE
60S.

&&
