A TORNADO WAS CONFIRMED IN FAULK COUNTY BASED UPON EVIDENCE SEEN DURING A
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STORM SURVEY...COUPLED WITH SPOTTER REPORTS AND VIDEO
FOOTAGE PROVIDED BY TRAINED SPOTTERS. THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ABOUT 0.8 MILES
SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 20. THE TORNADO TRAVELED 5 MILES TO THE NORTH NORTHEAST
BEFORE LIFTING. THE TORNADO CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE TO TWO FARMSTEADS. A GARAGE
DOOR WAS BLOWN OVER THE ROOF OF THE GARAGE ALONG WITH TREE DAMAGE AT ONE PLACE.
A LIVESTOCK TRAILER WAS BLOWN OVER ALONG WITH MORE TREE DAMAGE AT THE SECOND
PLACE. DAMAGE OF THIS MAGNITUDE IS CONSISTENT WITH WIND SPEEDS OF 75 TO 80
MPH...OR EF-0 DAMAGE

A TORNADO WAS CONFIRMED IN EDMUNDS COUNTY BASED UPON EVIDENCE SEEN DURING A
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STORM SURVEY. THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ABOUT 3.5
MILES NORTHEAST OF IPSWICH...TRAVELING ABOUT 1 MILE TO THE NORTHEAST BEFORE
LIFTING. DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED TO A FARMHOUSE IN THIS LOCATION. THE HOUSE LOST
A SECTION OF ITS ROOF ALONG WITH SIDING. A METAL OUTBUILDING ALSO LOST THE
MAJORITY OF ITS ROOF AND A TRACTOR WAS DAMAGED DUE TO FLYING DEBRIS. THERE
WAS ALSO TREE DAMAGE AND A DENTED GRAIN BIN AT THIS LOCATION. DAMAGE OF THIS
MAGNITUDE IS CONSISTENT WITH WIND SPEEDS OF 90 TO 95 MPH...OR EF-1 DAMAGE.
