AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE DRIFTING ACROSS THE REGION
TODAY...KEEPING THE HUMIDITY LEVEL DOWN. AS THE HIGH SHIFTS
EAST...WINDS WILL INCREASE FROM THE SOUTHEAST...ESPECIALLY FOR
LOCATIONS ALONG AND WEST OF THE MISSOURI RIVER VALLEY WHERE
SUSTAINED WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE. THE HEAT WAVE
BEGINS ON TUESDAY THROUGHOUT AND WEST OF THE MISSOURI RIVER
VALLEY...SPREADING INTO EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA INCLUDING THE JAMES
RIVER AND RED RIVER VALLEYS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. HUMIDITY LEVELS
ARE EXPECTED TO DROP TO AROUND 20 PERCENT OR LESS WEDNESDAY AND
THURSDAY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS FIRE WEATHER ZONES 267...268 AND 270.
