WINDS WILL BE GENERALLY LIGHT AND VARIABLE TODAY ACROSS NORTHEAST
SOUTH DAKOTA AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...WHILE A SOUTHEAST BREEZE
DEVELOPS OVER CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA BY THIS AFTERNOON. MIN RH VALUES
TODAY WILL DROP INTO THE UPPER 20S TO LOW 30S ACROSS CENTRAL SOUTH
DAKOTA...WITH HIGHER VALUES IN THE 40S OVER NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA
AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA. A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL MOVE THROUGH THE
REGION ON THURSDAY...WITH WINDS GRADUALLY SWITCHING TO THE NORTH
FROM NORTH TO SOUTH OVER THE REGION THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
PRECIPITATION CHANCES WILL BE ON THE INCREASE ALSO BY THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AND INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. MUCH COOLER CONDITIONS AND
HIGHER HUMIDITY WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA ON FRIDAY.

POTENTIAL FOR A FIRE OCCURRENCE. OUTDOOR BURNING SHOULD BE
RESTRICTED TO EARLY MORNING OR EVENING HOURS WHEN WIND SPEEDS
ARE USUALLY LOWER AND THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY IS HIGHER.
