MILD AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE...AND WHILE STILL ABOVE
NORMAL...TEMPERATURES WILL BE ON A SLOW COOLING TREND OVER THE
NEXT FEW DAYS. WINDS WILL GENERALLY BE LIGHT OUT OF THE WEST...THOUGH
ALONG THE NORTH DAKOTA SOUTH DAKOTA BORDER WINDS WILL BE CLOSER TO
10 TO 20 MPH OUT OF THE WEST NORTHWEST BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON.
LIGHT WINDS WILL FOLLOW FOR SATURDAY...WITH A SOUTHEAST BREEZE FOR
SUNDAY.

MOISTURE CONTENT OF GRASSES...AND OTHER DRY ORGANIC MATERIAL
ON THE GROUND...INDICATE THAT THERE IS A MODERATE TO HIGH
POTENTIAL FOR A FIRE OCCURRENCE. OUTDOOR BURNING SHOULD BE
RESTRICTED TO EARLY MORNING OR EVENING HOURS WHEN WIND SPEEDS
USUALLY LOWER AND THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY IS HIGHER.

THE OUTLOOK FOR SATURDAY AFTERNOON...THE GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER
INDEX WILL REACH THE LOW CATEGORY TO MODERATE CATEGORY.
