.DISCUSSION...

GUSTY SOUTH WINDS WILL CONTINUE TODAY AHEAD OF A SLOW MOVING
COLD FRONT. THESE WINDS WILL BRING IN A MORE HUMID AIR MASS
WHICH...IF WE SEE SOME CLEARING...WILL RESULT IN AFTERNOON
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT. STORMS COULD BE SEVERE WITH THE MAIN
RISK AREA THIS AFTERNOON BEING THE MISSOURI VALLEY...SHIFTING
EAST THROUGH THE EVENING AND EARLY OVERNIGHT HOURS. STORMS WILL
LIKELY WEAKEN OVERNIGHT WITH WIDESPREAD RAIN FOR EASTERN SOUTH
DAKOTA. WINDS BEHIND THE FRONT WILL BE NOTICEABLY WEAKER...ALONG
WITH A DROP IN HUMIDITY.
