...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN JONES COUNTY THROUGH 900
PM CDT...

At 828 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles south of Okaton, or 14 miles northwest of White River, moving
northwest at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Okaton and Capa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
central South Dakota.
