Cooler temperatures are forecast through the end of the week,
with highs ranging from the lower 20s north to the 30s and lower
40s south. This morning, lows will range from the mid teens north
to lower 20s south.

A more intense round of winter weather is expected over the
weekend across much of the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest, with
the potential to disrupt travel for many. Travel disruptions will
likely be a result of heavy snowfall and strong winds. A Winter
Storm Watch has been issued for much of the region through the
weekend and into the start of next week. If you have travel plans
this weekend through early next week, you will want to monitor the
