...The National Weather Service in Birmingham AL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...

  Sucarnoochee River At Livingston affecting Sumter County.

.Heavy rainfall of 3 to 6 inches is possible this week over the
Sucarnoochee River basin and a flood warning is now in effect for
the Sucarnoochee River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued Wednesday morning, or sooner if
conditions warrant.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sucarnoochee River at Livingston.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Overflow of low-lying agricultural lands
  increases.  Cattle and farm equipment should be moved to higher
  ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 3.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Thursday afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 21.7
    feet early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
