...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN TREGO AND NORTHERN
ELLIS COUNTIES THROUGH 130 AM CDT...

At 100 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northeast of Ellis, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Trego
and northern Ellis Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for central and
west central Kansas.
