...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CDT
FOR EAST CENTRAL WHITESIDE COUNTY...

At 404 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Nelson, or near
Rock Falls, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of east
central Whiteside County, including the following locations...
Yeoward Addition, Whiteside County Airport, Douglas Park, and Como.

This includes Interstate 88 between mile markers 36 and 44.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
the Quad Cities.
