.DISCUSSION...

Relative humidity values will depend heavily on how quickly the
ongoing winter storm exits the area. If clouds are able to stick
around and the system continues to linger, as is indicated in the
current official forecast, relative humidity values will struggle
to fall below 60%. Having said that, if it is quick in moving
out, relative humidity values may fall into the 40s and 50s. Winds
will remain elevated and from the northwest through the day today.
There is a low potential for winds to overachieve if the
orientation of the wind direction aligns with terrain, but
confidence in this is low due to the westerly component.
Compounding uncertainties today is the characteristics of current
snowpack. There is the potential for ongoing compaction and
melting through the day today thanks to the solar angle.

                    snow early in the morning. Patchy blowing snow
                    early in the morning. Areas of blowing snow
                    late in the morning, then patchy blowing snow
                    late in the afternoon.
