This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan and western North Dakota.

A front range low pressure system will spread heavy snow and
strong winds across the northern plains through the weekend.

This winter storm will bring widespread accumulating snow to
eastern Montana and western North Dakota. Snow amounts will be
lowest along and north of the Canadian border. Also, east winds
of 30 to 40 mph will create blowing and drifting snow, and
visibility reductions down to around 1/2 mile at times.

High temperatures will be in the 20s north to 30s south today.
Overnight lows will drop into the teens with highs Sunday only in
the 20s.
