Tonight...expect dry weather and mostly clear skies with overnight
low temperatures in the 40s. Winds will generally be 10 to 15
mph...with a few isolated gusts to 20 to 25 mph. This weekend will
be dry with the exception of possibly a few sprinkles or light
showers Saturday afternoon...mainly across north central Kansas.
High temperatures will be the warmest of the year so far this
weekend and Monday...with highs in the 80s all three days.
Monday...an area of low pressure will move across the
area...bringing showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon through
Tuesday. Some of the thunderstorms may be strong to severe. This
will also bring strong winds to the area...with winds out of the
south to southeast gusting up to 40 to 45 mph...the strongest of
which will occur Monday afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will
continue into Tuesday...with winds switching directions from out of
the south in the morning to out of the northwest Tuesday afternoon
and high temperatures in the 60s and 70s.
