...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN SMITH AND SOUTHEASTERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES...

At 314 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Franklin, or 27
miles northeast of Phillipsburg, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Smith and southeastern Franklin Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for north central
Kansas...and south central Nebraska.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
