...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN CHESTER AND SOUTHEASTERN
YORK COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM EDT...

At 747 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Chester, or near Richburg, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lesslie, Fort Lawn, Richburg, Catawba, Fishing Creek Reservoir, and
Edgemoor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
