This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Rain with embedded thunderstorm chances will increase later tonight
over far southern and southeast Kansas. Strong or severe storms are
not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Showers with a few embedded storms will impact far southern and
southeast Kansas Sunday. Severe weather is not expected.

A severe weather outbreak is possible Monday afternoon and evening
across the region. Supercell thunderstorms with very large hail,
damaging winds, and tornadoes are possible. Some of these tornadoes
could be strong. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to diagnose
uncertainty in the forecast.

There is a slight chance for thunderstorms over extreme southeast
Kansas Wednesday afternoon and evening. Severe weather is possible,
although better chances will likely be east and southeast of the
region.

Spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or tonight.
