...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN PENDER COUNTY
THROUGH 315 AM EDT...

At 252 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Maple Hill, or 12 miles east of Wallace, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Maple Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
