At 239 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Washburn, or 8 miles east of Chillicothe, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Metamora, Toluca, Washburn, Wenona, Varna, Cazenovia, Rutland, La Rose, Lake Wildwood, Low Point, and Marshall County Airport. This includes Interstate 39 between mile markers 29 and 40.
