AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Cumberland River at Williamsburg.

* WHEN...From this evening to early Saturday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 17.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.9
    feet on Friday and then begin to recede. However, the river
    will run high through Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
