Waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA from 20
to 60 NM...
* Until 600 AM CDT.
* At 505 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near South Marsh
Island 27, or 41 nm south of Marsh Island, moving southeast at 20
knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
structural damage.
