Northerly winds are in place following behind a cold front that passed early today and remain in place through tonight. Humidity will also fall to the 40 percent range behind the front for Saturday. As a surface high passes to the north and settles into the east of the area over the weekend, winds will shift from northerly to the southeast. By the end of the weekend and into next week, a low pressure system will bring higher rain chances, humidity, and persistent southeast winds. Remarks: 1) There is potential for a weak seabreeze along the immediate coastline Saturday afternoon. The question is the amount of inland penetration that occurs. The current forecast is that it may not reach the burn site through the afternoon hours Saturday. 2) There is some potential for afternoon humidities to fall below 35 percent if there is a bit more warming than anticipated. 3) At this time, the threat of fog late Saturday night and Sunday morning is very low. .REST OF TODAY...
