Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

Low pressure will pass south of the area today, with the northern
edge of the rain shield potentially reaching central Virginia and
southern Maryland. Below normal temperatures are expected, with
frost and freeze conditions possible tonight in rural areas.

High pressure builds overhead Monday, beginning a warming trend
through Tuesday. A cold front will reach the area Wednesday,
bringing the next chance of showers. High pressure will follow
Thursday and Friday.
