.Discussion...
High pressure will remain over the eastern Gulf of Mexico and the
western Atlantic through the weekend. Offshore west to northwest
winds at around 5-10mph are expected to veer onshore into the
afternoon Saturday as the east coast sea breeze pushes inland and
eventually reaches the western portions of central Florida into
the evening hours. Afternoon highs are expected to reach the upper
80s to low 90s with mostly sunny skies becoming partly cloud
Sunday. Dry weather will continue with min RH values expected to
drop into the low to mid 30s inland west of I-95 with slightly
higher values Sunday. Additionally, a Moderate Significant Fire
Potential is outlooked over the Treasure Coast to Okeechobee
county with a High Risk outlooked to the north through the
weekend. Dispersion values will be Generally Good to Very Good
Saturday and Very Good to Excellent Sunday.
Fog potential and other remarks... Patchy fog is forecast to
develop overnight, mainly between 5am and 9am across Lake,
western Orange, northwest Osceola, and northwest Volusia counties.
Visibilities will have the potential to drop to 1 mile or less at
times. If you encounter fog, remember to use your low beam
headlights and leave plenty of distance between you and the
vehicle in front of you. Localized visibility reductions due to
smoke from new or existing fires will be possible even if fog is
not forecast.
