AROUND MID MORNING HIGH PRESSURE WAS CENTERED IN NORTHWESTERN
ONTARIO AND A STATIONARY FRONT EXTENDED FROM WESTERN WISCONSIN TO
UPSTATE NEW YORK. THIS SETUP RESULTED IN MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES FOR
THE MAJORITY OF THE STATE...EXCEPT FOR NORTHWEST MINNESOTA WHERE
THERE WERE SOME BREAKS IN THE CLOUDS. TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE
TEENS FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE STATE...EXCEPT ALONG THE SOUTHERN
LAKE SUPERIOR SHORELINE AND PORTIONS OF EASTERN MINNESOTA WHERE
READINGS WERE IN THE 20S.

TODAY...CLOUD COVER WILL BE ON THE INCREASE IN WESTERN MINNESOTA DUE
TO A SYSTEM MOVING INTO THE WESTERN DAKOTAS. THE MAJORITY OF EASTERN
MINNESOTA WILL REMAIN MOSTLY CLOUDY DUE TO THE STATIONARY FRONT.
LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS OR FLURRIES CANNOT BE RULED OUT IN NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA THIS AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE 20S THROUGHOUT
THE NORTH STAR STATE.

TONIGHT...SKIES WILL BE MOSTLY CLOUDY STATEWIDE. NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA WILL SEE SLIGHT CHANCE OF SCATTERED LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS.
LOWS IN THE TEENS FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE STATE...EXCEPT FOR THE
FAR TIP OF THE ARROWHEAD WHERE LOWS WILL FALL INTO THE SINGLE
DIGITS.

SKIES WILL BE MOSTLY CLOUDY STATEWIDE TO END THE WORK WEEK. LIGHT
SNOW WILL BE A THREAT ACROSS NORTHERN MINNESOTA. HIGH TEMPERATURES
IN THE 20S TO THE NORTH AND IN THE LOW 30S TO THE SOUTH.
