DENSE FOG WAS FOUND ACROSS LAKE SUPERIOR THIS MORNING... AND LOW
CLOUDS ALSO LINGERED ACROSS THE NORTHEAST BUT HAVE SINCE LIFTED.
MORNING LOWS WERE REMARKABLY WARM IN RESPONSE TO STRONG SOUTHERLY
FLOW... WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TO UPPER 40S.

TODAY WILL BE ONE OF THE LAST WARM DAYS OF THE YEAR... WITH HIGHS
NEARING 70 FOR MOST LOCATIONS IN MINNESOTA. ENJOY IT WHILE IT
LASTS. TONIGHT A DRY COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE STATE AND
WILL KNOCK HIGH TEMPERATURES DOWN TEN DEGREES OR SO FOR THE
WEEKEND. THE NEXT CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION WILL COME SUNDAY EVENING
AND MONDAY AS NEW LOW PRESSURE APPROACHES THE UPPER MIDWEST.
