MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES PREVAILED OVERNIGHT ACROSS THE NORTH STAR STATE
AS HIGH PRESSURE DRIFTED ACROSS THE AREA. ASIDE FROM THE ARROWHEAD
REGION WHICH DID HAVE SOME CLOUDS TO HOLD LOWS IN THE UPPER 30S TO
LOWER 40S...TEMPERATURES DROPPED TO THE LOW-MID 30S IN NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL MINNESOTA WITH UPPER 30S TO AROUND 40 IN SOUTHERN MINNESOTA.
PLENTY OF SUNSHINE IS EXPECTED TODAY FOR ALL BUT THE ARROWHEAD
REGION. HIGHS WILL GENERALLY RANGE FROM THE MID 50S TO UPPER
60S...WITH MID 40S TO LOWER 50S IN THE NORTHEAST.

CLOUDS WILL SLOWLY INCREASE TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY AS A LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM OVER THE PLAINS GRADUALLY BECOMES MORE ORGANIZED. THIS SYSTEM
IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE REGION WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
THURSDAY...LIKELY BRINGING LIGHT RAIN ACROSS THE ENTIRE STATE. DRY
CONDITIONS ARE THEN EXPECTED FOR THURSDAY NIGHT ON THROUGH MUCH OF
THE WEEKEND.

THIS SYSTEM WILL ACTUALLY PRECEDE A MODEST WARMING TREND FOR THE
STATE GOING INTO THE LATTER HALF OF THE WEEK. AFTER LOWS TONIGHT
DROP TO THE 30S IN EASTERN MINNESOTA AND 40S IN WESTERN
MINNESOTA...STATEWIDE LOW TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN IN THE 40S FOR
THE REST OF THE WEEK. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE 50S AND 60S WEDNESDAY
AND THURSDAY WILL REACH THE 60S AND 70S ON FRIDAY.
