WEATHER SUMMARY FOR MINNESOTA

THIS MORNING HIGH PRESSURE WAS BUILDING FROM WESTERN ONTARIO DOWN
TO SOUTHWESTERN MINNESOTA...HOWEVER AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE
EXTENDED FROM NORTHEAST MINNESOTA TO SOUTHERN QUEBEC. THE UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE BROUGHT SOME CLOUDS TO NORTHERN AND EASTERN
MINNESOTA. SOME OF THESE LOCATIONS WERE REPORTING LIGHT SNOW
SHOWERS OR FLURRIES. TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY IN THE TEENS
STATEWIDE...EXCEPT FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST MINNESOTA WERE
TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS.

THE UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE EASTWARDS INTO NEW ENGLAND
BY TOMORROW MORNING AND THE HIGH INTO NORTHERN MINNESOTA. THIS
WILL RESULT IN SOME LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS OR FLURRIES IN NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA TODAY...WHILE THE REST OF THE REGION WILL SEE DECREASING
CLOUD COVER AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE
TEENS IN WESTERN MINNESOTA AND IN THE LOW 20S IN EASTERN MINNESOTA.

TONIGHT...CLOUD COVER WILL DECREASE AS THE NIGHT PROGRESSES. ANY
FLURRIES OR SNOW SHOWERS IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA SHOULD COME TO AN
END AS THE HIGH BUILDS IN. LOW TEMPERATURES IN THE SINGLE DIGITS
IN WESTERN AND NORTHERN MINNESOTA. THE REMAINDER OF THE STATE WILL
SEE LOWS IN THE TEENS.

CLOUD COVER WILL BE ON THE INCREASE ON THURSDAY AS A LOW MOVES IN
FROM THE WEST. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE 20S STATEWIDE.
