A blanket of low clouds covered Minnesota overnight. Temperatures
prior to daybreak generally ranged from the mid teens to mid 20s.

Skies will remain mostly cloudy today, and a brisk southeast wind
will develop for the afternoon. High temperatures will range from
the mid 20s to lower 30s in the north, to the mid 30s and lower 40s
south.

Wintry precipitation returns to the forecast tonight and Friday.
Warmer temperatures will return for Friday, with highs ranging from
the low and mid 30s north, to the mid and upper 40s south. The warm-
up will be short-lived, however, with highs in the 20s and 30s
returning for Saturday.
