Rain showers spread into western and north central Minnesota
overnight, while southeast winds became gusty from the southeast
across southern Minnesota ahead of an approaching front.
Temperatures prior to daybreak ranged from the 20s in the Arrowhead,
to the 30s across the rest of the north, to around 40 in the far
Widespread rain showers will shift eastward across the state today,
tapering off this afternoon as the front exits. A wintry mix will be
possible across the north this morning as well. Highs will range
from 40 to 50 north, to 60 to 70 south.
A break in the precipitation will occur tonight, and then the next
round arrives on Wednesday for all but the far north.
